The space

Myrtle Brae Farm is a working farm producing olives for oil and the table. We have just completed bottling our Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the May 2017 harvest.

We encourage you to wander the grounds to see the peacocks, visit the chickens and collect their eggs and feed the lambs.

Along with an abundance of native bird life, If you are lucky you will spot members of our resident kangaroo family amongst the olive groves and charming countryside.

There is a tennis court on the property for you to enjoy, along with plenty of outdoor seating areas, where you can relax into the afternoon with a glass of local wine and enjoy the sunsets.

Guests have a private entrance to a large and light-filled room with a queen bed, full ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe.

This was the best BnB experience I have had to date. Beautiful house on great property with an excellent host. The room was clean and comfortable. The lambs, dogs, chickens and peacocks added character. Have recommended this place to friends and family. It truly exceeded our expectations, a great weekend get away. Aarone’s recommendations and local knowledge was superb. He made us feel welcome. 5 stars!

Myrtle Brae was an absolute delight to stay at. Aarone and his dog, Daisy, made sure we were very comfortable and well taken care of. He was always willing to chat and offer advice on places that we should go. The room had every amenity we could possibly need and was beautifully presented. We were also able to explore the farm, feeding the chickens and lambs, and wander around the olive trees. Everything about Myrtle Brae was perfect! I would definitely recommend getting his hearty home made breakfast at least one morning, you won’t regret it! Thank you Aarone and Daisy for making our first visit to Mudgee so memorable.

Dear Aarone, Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. My partner and I really enjoyed staying. The house is stunning. The gardens are amazing. The driveway is a dream tree lined entrance. You were so welcoming. The bedroom was so nicely decorated. The bed was super comfortable and the tea, coffee, bottled water and freshly baked biscuits were a treat. Everyone who stays here will love it as it is a stately residence in the midst of the winery region. You’ve got the magic combination of great accommodation, great location and lovely hospitality too! We’ll be back!
